This multifold card has been made using the spooky frankenstein boy from squiggle stamps. I had great fun colouring him in with my new Stampin up markers. I have layered using the gorgeous bright orange card (button folder embossing courtesy of my friend Jenny) and some dark purple card.
The sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs and I find it so useful for those male cards.lol
Inside has been decorated simply using a die cut and some orange gems.

close up for his cuteness, can a frankenstein boy be cute? I think so.

Dragons and Butterflies

Thanks Janet from Pink Gem Designs for this gorgeously sweet, sugar wouldn't melt in my mouth wee dragon.
I have used SU 'lucky limeade' card stock and a piece of paper from the SU Designer Series Paper Everyday Enchantment, I thought it was perfectly matched for the dragon scales.
I punched out three small butterflies from the SU cardstock 'pool party' and popped wee gems on them.
I used the sentiment from the SU Swirls and Curls Verses stamp set and layered up using some small green brads.  The ribbon is Baja Breeze from SU again, and yes this was using some of the new stash that I got from my SU party on my birthday.
There are also some butterflies inside to finish off the card.

Squiggle stamps Birthday Bash Challenge only has a few more days to go. So here is the wee inventors, perfect for pretty much all young boys, especially those with a penchance for making dens, building outrageous and very wierd space ray guns and of course playing with their best pals.
I have made this card using some papers I bought in a sale a few months ago they are called Take that, Rusty pickle, Shazam, thought the name was great and very funny so had to add zoom, zoom, zoom to the sentiment panel, anyone who has seen that episode of the big bang will know where i am coming from. hehe. Too much caffeine!!!
I have faux stitched and used a small ribbon with stitching along the edges, also 4 red brads from stash and added two legs to the TH rosette. I coloured with my Promarkers and hi-lighted with a white pen.

This cute card is made using a LOTV diecut. I have made it for a friend of mine who lives down in the South of England, so will need to send it by post and have managed not to add any embellies, fortunately as it is for a man, there wasn't a great call for them anyway. hehe.

Biker boy for christmas

Have made this card for putting away for christmas time, have started off this year quite well and the pile is growing, fingers crossed that I don't fall out of the tree too quick this year, must keep it up!
I have coloured with a mixture of whispers and promarkers. I have used a bizzy becs (I think) sentiment and a DCWV sticker. Made a rosette style for under the circle sentiment for a change and popped a handmade fimo button with a piece of hemp tied to it as an extra embelly as it looked a bit 'bear'. Oh dear!, better speed this up a bit no more un'bear'able quips from me.
I made a stepper card for a change as I have not made one for quite a while now, I had forgotten how so it took a couple of goes to get it right, but think I have it now.

Pollycraft Jessy Drummer and a bit of a panic

Well for a while there I thought I wasn't going to get my blog back. This morning I got told blogger had disabled my blog etc etc. The only trouble was that I had not done anything naughty in any way to make them do this. So what was happening, guess what? I still have no idea why they did it, but they did. A quick email from the blogger guys and gals would be great to explain why they had to put me into a panic.  Blogging has become my outlet, not just to share my creations but also as a way to let off steam, well have a natter really with like minded crafters.
Well thats my grumble for the day, and I have probably missed a couple of the challenges that I made this card for but never mind eh, there's always the next challenge.
This is pollycrafts Jessy Drummer, the image was brilliant to colour and I used my promarkers.  The papers are all from my stash, some are snippets, including one snippet that I pinched from my friend Jenny's snippet box hehe. My Nephew will be 16 this week and this is for him. He used to play the drums at all hours but I think if I'm honest his ps3 is now his passion!!
I am hopefully entering this into the following challenges if I catch them in time.

Here is a card that I made for a teenager in our family.  I used my basic grey papers, some handmade green plain paper for matting and a small piece of black to make the image pop a little.  The ribbon is from some packaging on a shoe box and the letters are from a sheet of dcwv paper.

I have coloured with my Promarkers and have used a Squiggles Digi called Skullz Boy from the Goth Kidz range of images.

Squiggles Newest Challenge is 'Thanks'

Okay so it's that time again, are you ready for a new Challenge from Squiggle Stamps?
Over at Squiggle Stamps Challenge this fortnight the theme is Thanks, so that encompasses thanks, thank yous, ta and maybe even give thanks. We would love to see all your super creations on this theme and you have until the end of play on the 14th October to link them up.

I have made a card for a male for a change. Like everyone else I never seem to have enough male cards, so this will be one for the pile so to speak.  I have used the marvellous digi from the Dinky Ghoulz series, called Scarecrow Boy and he is superb to colour, especially the pumpkins.

I have coloured with my promarkers and used basic grey papers from quite a while ago, I have to admit that I have hoarded these a little as they are some of my fave male card making papers.  I used some small square gems and some green papermania round gems to finish off the sparkle part and some simple stickers from my stash.

There are THREE prizes this time around so more chances to win and of course if you use a Squiggle Stamps image be it digi or rubber, you will get an extra entry into the end draw as well.
Each of the winners will win a Daisy with Gift and an Oscar with Frame both in Rubber.
So why not pop over to Squiggle Stamps Blog for a wee looky. Or of course you could head over to their wonderful store where there are some new digis and a fantastic christmas release coming on Monday 3rd October, that's tomorrow, can't wait!!!

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Southern Girls ch28 - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for popping over.

I have coloured with my Promarkers, used some scraps of paper for laying up, some eyelash fibres, an old plastic snake (recycled) and some cool stickers from my stash, including a stamp of a dinosaur and a dragon chipboard die cut.  All the sorts of things he loves.

Yes Peas, and thanks Spyder

This is a most wonderful image by Spyder, isn't it awesome. Love it and it was great to colour, which I did with my Promarkers.

Must pop over to Spyder to let her know that I have used one of hers as they don't always make it under the camera and are away in the post before I have got organised with piccies.

So I have followed a sketch for this card and have added some die cut corners, which I then blinged up with some fat bulging glitter glue.

Spyders link is http://spyder-spyderscorner.blogspot.com/

I added some lovely little papermania gems to the bottom rhs and used some fibres and a shiny green rhinestone star to entwine around it. The fibre is held in place with some snaps and the 3 small 'peas' on the top lhs corner are from the hole punch out of plain card which I then glittered gently.

I can't tell you how much I love this little alien, he is so cool, must check my next packet of frozen peas to see if I've got one. hee hee

Ok then I am entering this card into
