Magical Mermaid

This is a wonderful image from Sweet Pea, by ching-chou kuik, called 'dance of the butterfly'. I love it, mind you I seem to love most of her great images, just can't afford them all. Better get saving. I have just simply popped her onto a textured card base and added a couple of strips of glittery and sparkly card. Popped on a chipboard flower as I thought it looked as if it could have been underwater (not all wet and water logged, but blues etc) I have coloured the image in my promarkers and have entered this card in the I love Promarkers Challenge #30 - Myth and Magic.
Thanks for stopping by.

A Princess Recipe

This card has been made using a recipe from 7kids, I have coloured this little princess, with her little princess, in of course pink tones, with a few beige tones to compliment the papers that she has been layered onto. I have added some gorgeous flowers and a sparkly, shimmery butterfly.

I have entered her into the 7kids Challenge # 3 - a recipe as follows
1 image (that 7kids stocks)
2 designer papers
3 flowers
1 sparkly item.
Thanks for popping over

Catching Star Beams

I have followed a sketch for this card and used a stamp from a Create it! pack from a long time ago. I have enjoyed using the bright colours, and cutting out stars from foam, (and adding the smily faces).

I am entering this card into the Teddy Stampers Challenge #18 - Sketch.

Shopaholics Anonymous

I have made this card using a metallic card base and have overlaid with some lace printed vellum. I have coloured the lady with my promarkers and think she looks real cute, just glancing over her shoulder like that. I have added a couple of sentiments etc and some fabric flowers which have been pinned in place with a pearl brad, coordinating with the pearl brad holding the pieces of ribbon at the bottom right hand side of the card.
I suspect you will be able to guess whats in the bags (more stash!!!)

I have entered this card into two challenges as follows:-
Simon Says Stamp - Pearls and Lace
and
Cute Card Thursday - Material Girl

8x8 It's Snowman Scrapping Time

I have created an 8 x 8 Scrapbook layout in readiness for the Snow this winter, I am assured by several outdoorsy types that it will be early this year. (Yaarrgh)
We have nearly filled the stick/log shed in preparation for the power cuts and the lack of oil deliveries as they are snowed in and cannot come and fill up all of our tanks.
I do hope that the above does not happen again this coming winter, but incase of any of these events we are ready!
Now then, the bit you I am sure you would like to know about is my layout. I have used some designer DCWV winter papers and my wonderful snowman that i love. He is layered up with three types of paper and then the fourth is of course the main 8x8 sheet. He is coloured in with my promarkers and I have added three snowflakes (2 punched out and one brad).
I have used some pale pink/lilac dotted ribbon in a neat pattern across and down the page. Sparkle on my lower snowflake (have to put some on somewhere)

I am entering this into the Winter Wonderland Challenge, which is a recipe as follows:-
4 papers
3 Snowflakes
One Snowman/woman

Blue fairy wishes

I have had great fun with this card. To start I used a TimHoltz embossing texturz folder, then I used a punch for the flower and sentiment patch. After that I popped on the cute all blues image and tada it was finished. I used my very old pale blue scrapbooking sheet of paper as a starting place and my new embossing folder, coloured of course with my promarkers.
I am entering this card into three challenges as below:-
Papertake weekly - Just the one.
Thanks so much for looking
