Snow Problem

Great image, I love this large snowman with his warm jacket and lovely buttons.

As is the norm, I have coloured him with my Promarkers and have layered him up with pastel pinks, purples and blues.

I decided to enter him into three challenges :-

Thoughtful

I have used an old and faithful image that I then coloured with my promarkers, the backing paper is pearlescent green card that I have had for years and have used a circle stamp and the word sorry from Personal Impressions. I then layered up a couple of colour co-ordinated flowers to finish.

I used the sketch from the current Sketch and Stash challenge #40, which I have duly entered.

Good Luck Bear

Hallo Again, I seem to have saved all these posts up for one day. The children are all busy, nice day and they are playing in the garden, yippee the computer is free for a minute.

This is my good luck bear card, made using one of my fave stamps with a mulberry flower behind on small square card. Coloured of course with my Promarkers.

I have entered this into the Just Cute Bears Challenge #27 - Bear Necessities

Froggy Prince

As you have probably guessed this is my adaptation of the Frog Princess and her golden ball Fairy Tale. I have made this using a very old stamp from my Create It set, and have coloured it in with my Promarkers.

I am entering it into The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #93 - FairyTales

and

The Friday Sketchers Challenge #112 - using an upside down version of their sketch.

My Daughter Tisha had a go at making a card with the same stamped image, and i LOVE it.(see below)

overdid the bubbly

See I said it would only be a moment or two.
I decided as we have no lock on our bathroom door (still have young children that do the 'locks stuck again mummy' bit), that I would make a hanger for the door. They will probably not notice it, but one has to try!!
I have used DCWV stickers, coredinations card and a penny black stamped image.
This is my third and final entry into the PennyBlack @ Allsorts Monthly Challenge which ends in 2 days.

P.S. Overdid the bubbly refers to the fact that I forgot to turn the images before posting!!??

New Home Hedgy

This is just a quicky for my friend who has finally moved into her new/very old home. She loves hedgies, so there was no contest had to use a penny black image, again with the squiggle stamps backdrop(so so useful). Overexposed the image a bit so it all looks a little pale, never mind hedgies just so cute!

Have entered it into the Penny Black @ Allsorts monthly challenge which only has a couple of days left to run, you can enter up to three times so will post one more in a moment or two.

A new Porpoise for life

I have had great fun with creating a scene, especially as I love a bit of theatre.
Papermania Aqua capsule collection papers have been shaped like waves and I used an old stamp (can't remember where I got this one from, but it is one of a set of sea creatures)
I coloured the dolphins / porpoises with my promarkers and also the rocks that my decoupage mermaid is sitting upon. she is from the "Dreamtide " Series by Christine Haworth Design.
The wee metal charms are Scrapbook Basics.

I am entering this card into the Allsorts Challenge #59 - Create a scene
and also
The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #90 - water theme.

Classic Christening Bear

I have made this cute card for a christening that is coming up soon, so as I have decoupaged it I have decided to enter it into the Just Cute Bears Challenge #24 which has a decoupage theme this week.

I have used various papers and have reused a gorgeous ribbon from some lavender bubble bath that I received back in March this year. It was just too nice to throw out!

Enjoy and thanks for looking

Summer love bird

This pretty little love bird, from Squiggle Stamps, just had to be centre stage, I have used sunshine papers from papermania (again, seem to be hooked on the gorgeous summery colours). I matched in the colours on the butterflies and coloured the bird and the flower train that crosses the middle with coordinating promarkers. I have used the sketch from Friday Sketchers challenge, very challenging.

I have decided to enter this card into
Squiggle Stamps July Prize challenge
and also
the Friday Sketchers Challenge #109

Really enjoyed making this card and decided to enter it into the

Passion for butterflies

Highly contagious this desire to upload your cards, so here is another one.
I have used a SeeDees Botanical image coloured with my promarkers, a beautiful lace butterfly from the papermania people and have embossed another butterfly onto coredinations card , which I then sandpapered over to bring out the paler colour (this was a first for me as I had not used this type of technique before)

I am entering this card into two challenges. These are :-
Passion for promarkers week 58 - think of a number
and
Colour create Challenge 48 - Baby pink, Peach and Black colours

I've used the sketch image from sketch and stash #38, some DCVW spring pink printed ribbon (from my stash), and the wee mouse from Anitas Stamps 2002. This image (Sarah Kay) is so cute with the little chicks. The paper flowers are my newest aquisition there were 24 in the pack and I only have three left to play with. oops!

The card at the top is by my daughter Evie (7) who decided she would like her card entered into the 'Animal Crackers' Challenge, see below.
