Find me somebunny to love, find me somebunny to love, can anybody find meeeee somebunny to love.

OK OK, sorry but Queen is just my all time fave band, couldn't help myself.
Well now over to the card, two cute little meljen bunnies, adorable. I have as usual coloured with my promarkers and edged the individual parts of the card with my promarkers instead of my chalks for a change. I have followed a sketch and have used some great glitter card from my stash, some DCWV - a pocket full of posies card/paper and some buttons again from my stash. I have used an old border/multi punch for the right hand edge and have ended up with quite a large card for me.
My printer did not want to print this image any smaller for me so that was that! the card had to be this size at the bare minimum (almost 6x6) But I do love the colours together, so spring like and just right for a couple of capering bunnies.
I am entering it into the following challenges

My Heart is Yours

I have made this card using a wee little Penny Black stamp, that is just sooo cute. I have coloured him in with my promarkers and have followed a sketch. I have used my papermania flowers and fixed with brads and foam pads to give a lifted effect. I found some HOTP papers that I had obviously had a brain storm with and packed away in a pile of magazines, I think they may be at least 6 years old!! I hand wrote the sentiment and added graduating flower gems in the lower left corner. And then just for a bit more sparkle, I added some papermania glitter glue to the flowers and around the edge of the sentiment.
I am entering this card into the following challenges then I am writing it to my hubby and putting it away in my card book, hopefully I will remember to drag it out for the 14th.

winter blues only ...

This little card has been made using only sentiments and chalks for colouring, I have used my silver mirror card, a small piece of freebie paper and a lovely dark blue ribbon. Onto the ribbon I have put 3 co-ordinating gem flowers. I have raised the two circular stamps up from the card to give a little dimension and have also used blue promarker to edge the large squares of paper.

A Wedding Card to go with the Wedding Album

Finally put the finishing touches to my card, could I find a matching butterfly anywhere -no I couldn't. Then I suddenly remembered one that had come on a tag from a birthday a couple of years ago, and miracles of miracles, I actually knew where to find it!!
So this is a LOTV image, with LOTV circle sentiments and a hand written 'with love', edged with faux stitching, coloured with promarkers and edged with chalks. The matching ribbon is from papermania's capsule collection and the orange roses I collected ages ago from a sewing shop in the south of England, whilst on holiday.
I have used my new border punch for the flower effect along the horizontal cream band (x-cut) and again I have used my chalks on the edging and have finished it off with the gorgeous butterfly which has a wooden body and metal antennae.
I so enjoyed making this card, hope you like it too.

White Wedding Wishes

Albums Albums Albums, this one is for family on the west coast who are getting married soon, so now you know what I have been doing this last little while. Talk about a mad rush, I have another couple of wedding albums in the throws and I have finished a baby girl, a baby boy and a Sorry to hear you are leaving album (all of these were 8 x 8, this one is 6 x 6)
So I haven't left you honest, just had to get my head down and finish the lot, I have gone through so much double sided it's scary. I think I am going to have to start using my sewing machine again for these albums, penny pinching I know, but to be honest I think I like the sewn look as much as the clean look. What do you think?
I have tried to make this album as clean and simple as possible (for me) as this is what the couple like. I have used my new LOTV wedding couple in a carriage stamp, with one of the LOTV Calendar stamps. I have coloured with my promarkers and have used some lovely ribbon from a christmas pressy on the front (as this will not be in contact with photoes)
I have layered up with some kanban tartan (scottish wedding) and used my zutter machine to bind the album.
I have used my woodware flower punches and also some brads and designer papers, die cut mulberry flowers and several papermania gems.
So this is the first item that I have posted for a few weeks, hope you like it. I am entering it into the following challenges
Charisma Cardz - Magic No's
Crafty Annes Challenge 32 - Ring in the new but don't ring out the old

Yes I know we are early...

But Ro wanted to use this image and that sentiment, so we went from there. Then when I had finished colouring and matting and layering and inking edges with chalks, he asked me if we could put it on 'The Blog' cos his big sisters do this too, I did try and point out to him that they actually coloured and made their own cards before putting them onto 'The Blog', but that did not phase him at all. 'mum you have to put it on cos you coloured it so cool' well he is only 6 bless him.
So I hunted about and lo and behold just this morning I spotted a challenge by Paper Play Challenges no '11 - Week one, which was clean and simple.
Which I think just about covers it.
THanks for looking

Ring out the old ..

Ring in the new. Moving along with the Times Challenge 80 is a challenge to use old and new stash (possibly something from that Christmas stocking?)
I have used some lovely new papers and a die-cut butterfly, and a great little japanese lady image, which my friend gave me for christmas. I have coupled it with very old DCWV mat and stack card and some papermania gemstones that I bought sometime in the school holidays last year.

A Fond Farewell to 2010

This lovely poignant image is a Sweet Pea Stamp. I always look forward to a new year and yet am always a little sad to say goodbye to the year before, some good bits, some bad bits but not many this last year, lots to be thankful for and a fit and generally healthy family, certainly nothing more that I can ask for coming into the new year. I wish you all a most wonderful 2011, with lots of goodness, memories and marvellous adventures.
This card has been coloured with my promarkers and has been layered up with soft greens and mints. I have added a couple of buttons (recycled from one of hubbies old shirts) and used one of my own sketches. I have hi-lighted the wings on the largest butterfly with some papermania gems.
I have two friends who love this style of card, I now have to decide which one will get her for a New Year thank you note. Hmmm ... Perhaps I should make another in similar tones...

This is one of the many thankyou cards that I am making at the moment, and sadly the light is such that this is the only one that has photoed half decent. A lovely sweet pea image, coloured with my promarkers, layered up following a sketch and a little extra bling added in the shape of some graduated heart gems.

Blingy Birthday Princess Tilda

Well this lovely image came up really well, I have coloured tilda with my promarkers and have used some old old paper freebies. I have been having a clear out of old stuff and came across a pile of freebie papers, yippee as they are all real cool colours. A little bit of fibre added to the buttons and a piece of stick on ribbon with dots on it add a little extra embellishment. And silver peel offs 'wishing you a happy day'.
