Tag your it!

Using my sizzix tag dies I cut out a pile of tags and began to stamp.  Around the edge of the first one I used a SU stamp with SU ink pad, pear pizazz.  Next I used the SU inkpad, island indigo and stamped two postage images. these I cut out and popped onto the tag with dimension squares.
The sentiment is stamped in island indigo too.  The flower (x-cut) is punched out of tartan Kanban card and a small flower image stamped again with island indigo ink pad and attached with a white brad.
Topping it all off the tartan ribbon from my stash.
'Thanks' sentiment again SU and coloured with SU markers, The ribbons and heather and button and twine is from my stash.  The flower border punch (x-cut) was used on some pearlescent card and attached horizontally.  The flower above is made from a tim holtz die, it has a with a small die cut centre and a small papermania flower sticker.
Pretty Wooden Butterfly coloured with promarkers, su markers an pigment chalks. Kanban tartan card for the flowers punched using an x-cut punch. The sentiment is an SU stamp.
A pretty wedding tag, made using satin and also organza spotted ribbon. Stamped around the edge with pear pizzazz SU ink pad and SU stamp. I have attached a small tibetan silver cross charm to the white heather and twirled the ends of the flowers.
Kanban Tartan again for the punched flowers.
Die cut sentiment from my stash.

Thanks

A thank you card for my aunt and uncle down south.  They sent me some lovely writing paper with matching envelopes and a very vintage feel.

Yes I have been playing with my new stampin up papers, aren't they lovely. I also bought some of the stampin up markers with which I coloured in the sentiment.
The image (from pollycraft) is coloured with my promarkers and is so cute! I was going to turn it into an easter card, but know that my aunt loves wee birdies, so it was perfect for her.  I have her birthday card in the pipe line too, so will show that next week.

I even decorated the inside, which I do quite a lot nowadays but don't always remember to take photos.

Squiggles Newest Challenge is 'Thanks'

Okay so it's that time again, are you ready for a new Challenge from Squiggle Stamps?
Over at Squiggle Stamps Challenge this fortnight the theme is Thanks, so that encompasses thanks, thank yous, ta and maybe even give thanks. We would love to see all your super creations on this theme and you have until the end of play on the 14th October to link them up.

I have made a card for a male for a change. Like everyone else I never seem to have enough male cards, so this will be one for the pile so to speak.  I have used the marvellous digi from the Dinky Ghoulz series, called Scarecrow Boy and he is superb to colour, especially the pumpkins.

I have coloured with my promarkers and used basic grey papers from quite a while ago, I have to admit that I have hoarded these a little as they are some of my fave male card making papers.  I used some small square gems and some green papermania round gems to finish off the sparkle part and some simple stickers from my stash.

There are THREE prizes this time around so more chances to win and of course if you use a Squiggle Stamps image be it digi or rubber, you will get an extra entry into the end draw as well.
Each of the winners will win a Daisy with Gift and an Oscar with Frame both in Rubber.
So why not pop over to Squiggle Stamps Blog for a wee looky. Or of course you could head over to their wonderful store where there are some new digis and a fantastic christmas release coming on Monday 3rd October, that's tomorrow, can't wait!!!

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Sweet Pea Flowers and Bling

This is a wee thanks card for a friend of mine, I have used a SweetPea image and coloured with my promarkers. I have added some mulberry flowers and some glittery shiny brads, and some glittery pink papermania shimmer dots. The papers were a freebie and instead of cutting I carefully tore down the blue floral paper to add a little more texture. This is a card I need to post so I have tried to keep it as thin as possible, but not too boring as she likes lots of things going on in her art.
I am entering this card into :-

Gorjuss greens

This gorjuss image is coloured with my PMs and I have added some papermania gemstones for the buttons. I have layered up some pretty yellow/green mulberry flowers and attached with a large green brad. The large leaf spray is a recycled item from some old fake flower displays that I took apart a wee while ago, this was really cos I needed some small pink flowers at the time, but the whole lot got stripped.

I have embossed two panels with a flower folder (freebie) and attached either side. Then I added two panels of faux leather look paper.

I have given this card 4 folds and have enjoyed concocting each part. I am entering this card into the following challenges

Critter Sketch - Fancy Folds

Spoonfull of Sugar ch146 - Tons of Texture

Try it on Tuesday - A card inspired from your home. (an old table cloth that I love)
I have added this wee note as I was very kindly told I had not included a link to the One Stop Card Crafts for the above challenge, who have a wonderful webstore, check them out on the above link.xx

Floral Thanks

A thankyou card for the Less is More Challenge Blog, YES! I managed to make a one layer card. Unbelievable I hear you say, it can't be done by Heidi, but I did it! More to the point I really enjoyed this, I had a rake(look for non scots) thru my stamps and found one that I got from a Docrafts goodybag of all places from the Henbury lane collection.
I have to admit I have only used this once before, but I really like the way this has turned out and I know I put faux stitching around the card and embossed the side, but I had too! It made me.
I stamped the image too far to the right if I'm honest, one of lifes good mistakes as it gave me the option to use a floral embossing folder to compensate.
I have coloured with my promarkers and my chalks and also edged with my chalks.
I am sharing this card with
Less is More Challenge 2 - One layer card using a tree or flower image
Incy Wincy #81 - Colour me wonderful, use mixed mediums
Top Tip Tuesday #22 - All Stitched Up
Thanks for popping over & before you go check out my mini candy up for grabs HERE or on the sidebar, I know it's only little but check the next post (when I get it on) for a couple of cards using the stamps (not the ones in the candy, but duplicates that I have) So you can see how lovely they stamp. Oh and I have used a charm or two which will also be included with the candy.
Hugs Heidi
