Delicious Doodles zebras, so so delicious

Beautiful image this by Delicious Doodles. I have made this card using some of my new papermania papers and some black bazill card. The black and white checked ribbon is from my stash as are the pretty butterflies. The gorgeous large flowers are also papermania, as is the wee black one under the buttons.
The buttons have been attached using some hemp.

The sentiment is from Stampin Up and the die is also from SU. I used a scrap of organza ribbon to make a bow as I felt it needed something as it floated around in the black space.

Simply layered the inside area.

Took an extra photo when the sun briefly came out. xx

yummy cupcakes haha not!

I was going to say with a cherry on top, but actually they had sprinkles (chocolate and hundreds and thousands). Tishy and I had some fun, well mostly Tishy, I didn't get much of a look in if I'm truthful.
So no pictures of the cupcakes, can you guess why, can you???
I came back to the kitchen after spending the best part of an hour in the utility room sorting washing, hanging it up, folding, putting away, you know the drill, boring!! but has to be done 'the washing fairy was here' written in softener across the white walls. lol.xx
So bet you guessed eh?  Not a cakey in sight.  Now I know that I have lost almost a stone in weight through not eating too many bad things etc etc.  But they had only left me crumbs :(:(
So so sad. Hxx

Used some fun freebie papers and some SU card and dps scraps for matting up. Add a fun Happy Birthday sticker which sparkles and some wee green brads. Coloured with Promarkers and SU Pens, popped on a scrap of ribbon cut into three and bradded into place.

Cheeky chimps anniversary love

An image from the Digi Stamp Boutique which I have coloured with my PM's and glittered with stickles.
Which I have to confess has already left the building and I very nearly forgot to photograph it so that I could share it with you. Life is fairly hectic in the Mainland household at the moment.
It is an Anniversary card for my parents who are celebrating their 45th this year, so went for the blue colours cos I found out it is meant to be celebrated with sapphire, of course then I remembered that you can actually get pink and green sapphires as well, but think the blue was the right choice.

I found some pretty little white heart brads to put in the centre of the flowers made from prima and also some from the pound shop from last year.(the gold ones).
The ribbons are velvet and are from my stash box, as is the snippet of lace and the gold thin ribbon bows which I tied and then fixed with two tiny gold brads(dropped one of these and it is officially mia, they are so tiny)
The large piece of organza ribbon with gold edging is from a box/present, so a bit of recycling there too!

Nearly forgot to mention the giant DCWV brad, these are gorgeous, one of those items you almost don't use cos you love them so much (you all know what I mean!!!)
The papers are freebies, papermania and a couple small snippets of gold from my stash that are so old their make escapes me?

Squigglestamps Jubilee Challenge and Freebies

Hmm seem to have lost the plot this weekend, had planned some fun things to do this week, then Will got a phone call (on sunday) to go to work because the proverbial had hit the fan. So instead of a few days off this week he is going to be staying over at Inverness some of the time to sort out all the problems.

On a plus side it does mean I get some extra crafting time!!

Today I have a Squigglestamps creation for you. The latest challenge at Squigglestamps Blog is 'Jubilee' and to celebrate we have some wonderful Jubilee Freebies to share with you all.

We would love to see all your projects to celebrate the jubilee, or red/white/blue or maybe bling and glitter and lots of sparkle.

The card I have made to share with you is created using the boy from the above freebies.  It is for the son of one of my best friends.
I coloured with my promarkers and used a happy birthday Stampin Up sentiment, that I got FREE when I held a SU party.
Now as the images were FREEBIES, I decided to see if I could make the whole card using FREEBIES.
The papers are from a cardmaking magazine, the doily from a friend. The ribbons were also FREE from another magazine and the brads were from a candy win from a year ago.
Challenges
Simon Says Anything Goes
Crafts and Me - Add a ribbon
I love promarkers - Use a digi
craft challenges - background text
MAWTT - Cool Brittania
Paperplay Challenges  - use two of something (flowers, brads)
Digis Days - Inspiration photo
