Glitter Hearts and lots of flowers

Now then this is a pretty tag to send instead of a card, found some Kraft card in cupboard and off I went.
I recently bought a couple of new wood stamps, a penny black and a house mouse. Well what can I say it was buy one get one free or a BOGOF offer, to you and me.

So then about the image, it is called Glitter Hearts and I have coloured with my Promarkers and have glittered every heart in sight, love it!
The image has been matted onto some of the handmade papers that my sister bought for me a couple of years back not sure where they came from though.
The flowers are from a die cut £1 set from the market in chichester, and the one that i have crinkled etc is made using the same diecut flowers but made wet and then crushed and dried and you've guessed it, GLITTERED!

Pearl Hearts have been popped in the centre of two of the large flowers adorning the holder and some smaller gemstones into two of the others on the top end of the tag.
I have used some gorgeous purple wrapping up ribbon (the wide sort ) and have threaded a whole piece through the hole at the top of the tag and then I have carefully seperated strands and then curled.  I have had such fun with this creation.
I am entering this into :-)

Chocolate cake, birthdays and a whole lot of chaos, welcome to my world peeps

Hallo Everyone, well what a day that was, don't want another like that for a while I can tell you.   First off, the boiler decided it wasn't going to run, so no hot water or oil fired heating. Got the stove fire going with its wrap around radiator boiler thingy and got some heat circulating the radiators.  Baked teenage daughter her cake on the range (heated water up).  So that was all sorted to a point.
Went out to see friend on the way to pick up kiddies from school and the 'radiator' on the jeep exploded! limped home (6miles) with poorly car and made it okay.
Got carseats and stuff into other car and it wouldn't start, battery flat!!  Next I tried to open bonnet, catch stuck!!  Eventually got bonnet open and discovered that the jump leads were in hubbies car with him in Inverness. eeeeeeekkkk!!!!!!  Rang garage spoke lots of really nice pleading words and Johnny came round with his portable battery pack and we got car going at last.  Was only half an hour late picking kiddies up.
Well it didn't end there, Oh No.  Johnny told me not to stop car until I had done all my picking ups and dropping offs and as it was the smaller car I had to do two trips to get all the kiddies back.  Luckily cos it was teenager daughters birthday my friend and friends daughter turned up and watched younger kiddies while I went back to get older kiddies.  Whilst driving I mentally told the car that although it had almost run out of diesel, everything would be fine, and for the first time that day it was, topped up later in evening, before taking second daughter to Moray Youth Choir.  Of course though what was I thinking the day had not yet ended!  A little flashing light appeared on the console telling me what???  Got home at 2130 hours and looked in manual, have now got to put in some brake fluid this morning apparently as the little flashing light means it is low.
But first I feel a strong cup of coffee is in order, and hopefully today will be much much better.!?!?

And yes I do have something to share with you other than all the tales of terrible tribulations and at some points even torture(me trying to get bonnet open) top is outside of birthday card and below that the inside and at the bottom a piccy of the birthday cakey. yum!
I am sharing this card with you and :-)

Squiggles Snow Puppy, for Bah-humbug and Totally Papercrafts Challenges

This card is made with another of the Squiggle Stamps. The stamp is called Snow Puppy and yes it is another card for christmas, lots of glitter on the snow and hat and gloves.  I have coloured with my Promarkers and have used a hand made fimo heart by my daughter Tish, a wild orchid craft flower and a prima flower (i believe).  Oh & there is also a wee lace flower that had been left at the end of a length from dress making and it seemed to fit perfectly with the whole style of card.  The papers are from papermania signature collection.
I am entering this card into a couple of challenges:-)

Squiggles Challenge GLAM & GLITZ and Papertakes Dies to Die for

Well now, long time no post, just been so busy, wore myself out on Sunday digging and moving rubble and stuff round garden.  At least it stayed dry so that was good!  More to look forward to this weekend coming, (can't wait!!??)

On to my card, this is a gorgeous Squiggle stamps Digi called 'mermaid' and she is just wonderful to colour.  Over at Squiggle Stamps Blog the current challenge is GLAM & GLITZ , something that we all seem to love, adding lots of sparkle and shine to our creations.  All you need to enter is to use a Squiggle Stamp, available in rubber or digi, and to follow the theme.  The prize this fortnight is 5 digis of your choice, so a magical prize, cos you get to chose.

Thanks for visiting, more later if I can get myself organised, have got to put a kayak onto gumtree to see if anyone wants to purchase it from my hubby, the things I let myself in for.

Hugs Heidi xx

Sweet Pea Anniversary

Okay lost count now of how many posts today, but here goes another.  This is a sweet pea image called midnight waiting, quite possibly my fave sweet pea at the moment, as it is so lovely to colour.

The image is coloured with my Promarkers,  and the card is an Anniversary card for great friends of mine.
I made an easel card for a change and used lots of glitter and flower punches.  I added brads, gems and  pearls. Then used a sentiment peel off and faux stitched around the oval that I put it onto.

Fairy Gifts for a Cupcake Sketch Challenge

Back again, still not finished with all the postings, I have another Squiggle Stamp Card for you and this is another christmas card.  I am trying to catch up with myself as I had promised myself to do a couple a week, and have only accomplished 28 or so now (must update counter to get correct figure). This image is called Fairy Gifts and is such a fun stamp.  Possibly one of the first stamps that I bought I think. I have coloured really brightly with my promarkers and have followed a sketch at Cupcake craft challenges who are celebrating their 3rd birthday.

I have teabagged some of the papers which are from Dovecraft and have added some extra layers and faux stitching.  I found some glorious red buttons to finish off the effect and to balance the card.
There is no Sentiment, think it is fairly or is that fairy obvious its for christmas. oohh, been sitting on my bottom for too long now methinks, time to do the hoovering (well maybe).

Here are the other challenges that I am entering:-)

Craft us Crazy - Anything Goes in August
The Pink Elephant TPW112 - Stitching
Crafty Sentiments - No Sentiment
Fab n Funky  86 -  A Stitch in Time

Squiggle Stamps - Shy Goth Girl

Well this is Shy Goth Girl, she is from the new range of digi images at Squiggle Stamps, Goth Kidz, they are absolutely brilliant, and great to colour and easy to resize for printing. Don't forget there is still time to enter the current Squiggle Stamps challenge which is a Squiggle Stamp image coupled with the colours of pink and black, optional lace element.
New Challenge starts on Saturday at High Noon

I have added some extras to my digi as you can see, just used yellows and oranges to colour (Promarkers) and she looks gorgeous in them.  I printed out a circular digi (how awful can't remember where I got this freebie) Then I coloured the heart orange and glittered the wee patch to make it stand out.  The feather is from my stash as is the satin ribbon under the circle.  The grossgrain doubled up ribbon is a new acquisition and the lovely button is from a stash I had as a child (just discovered in the loft).
I am entering this little cutie into the following challenges

Totally Stampalicious - Use a Rectangle Square and Circle on you creation
Papertake Weekly - Eyes Down (my line is Button Ribbon and Free)
Pixie Dust Studio Challenge - A Tween Teen's Dream (card for a teenager)

Forever Friends Christmas Card

Well this is a gorgeous Forever Friends Bear Stamped image, that I have coloured with my Promarkers, then I stamped a small wreath circle and cut it out. Added a ribbon which I secured with a large brad and placed on the card, at which point I decided it needed something more; so added a flower to compliment the festive holiday headgear that my two animals are wearing. I layered the image using some holographic card and popped some wee brads onto the corners.
The song it makes me think of is 'We three kings'.  I know what you are thinking, but there is only two images.  It's the way the bear is looking at the robin as if to say, "well where's your brother, you did say you'd bring him with you, I've got his crown ready and everything"

I am entering it into
Try it on Tuesday - Anything goes
ABC Q is for quotes - Christmas Song or Quote

Thanks so much for looking, see you all in a little while with my next post as have got a wee pile to share with you.

Squiggle Stamps - Midway Reminder Pink & Black Challenge 'Meet the Owlies'

Hallo Everyone, this is a quick post to remind you all that we are midway with the Squiggle Stamps Challenge which this fortnight is Pink and Black with the optional extra of Lace.
Don't forget all you have to do is to create something with a Squiggle Stamp image, that follows the theme to enter. This could be a card, tag, scrapbook page, album, atc or even an inchie.
The fantastic prize for this challenge is six yes SIX NEW DIGIS.

Here they are, aren't they wonderful, if you would like to go check out the whole range and of course the rest of the stores digis and rubber stamps then please click here
Up above you can see my card, which is made using the wonderful Owlies, I have followed the theme and I have trimmed the image with some black lace.
I found these pretty little flowers and added them to my card as I pressed slightly too hard with the 'happy birthday' stamp, so happy accidents and all that.
Hope you come and join us for this challenge as pink and black always make a popping card combo.

Birdie Bunting get well card

This card has been made for the Less is More Challenge  which is 'use the colours of your home flag'. So for me that would be the union jack.

I have used the banner called Birdie Bunting from Squiggle Stamps which is available as a rubber stamp and a digi image. I have coloured with my Promarkers in red and blue leaving white gaps of course.  Sorry about the terrible photo, light just went yesterday afternoon and have already posted this off to my poorly friend.
Thanks for looking
Hugs and miles of smiles

Freaky Fairies and Squiggle Stamps too

Last post from me for today, have neglected the house for two long me thinks.
This particular card I couldn't stop adding more and more stuff to, so I apologise now for the overdose of embellies.
The colours I chose were pinks and purples, just because.....
The gorgeous image is from Squiggle Stamps and is so so sweet, these lovey doveys are great to colour and then in a moment of even more stamping, I added the birdy banner from the same company.
Glitter seems to have landed on most items and have used some sparkly gemstones on the flower middles.
I used a woodware leaf punch to add some extra foliage and then as if that wasn't enough I stamped inside with some silhouette fairies in a soft purple ink (DCWV stamps).
Whats wrong with me ?
To top it all I then went and changed my blog background, wow what a day! Let me know if you like it or not.

Anyhow I am entering this monstrosity into the following challenges:-{ so that they too can see when crafting goes slightly eccentric or is that erratic.

Magical Mondays - Banners and Glitter
Craft Us Crazy - Anything goes in August
Sir Stampalot - Whatever you fancy (kind of apt as it was whatever I was fancying at that moment)

Thanks for looking and I hope not freaking out too much.

Blue Butterflies

So then, another card made. I am on a roll just now, kiddies have all been good and occupied, some watching dvd's and some making cards. (Perhaps I should type this as a whisper!)  This card is a LOTV image from a pack that I got from a magazine, loads of images to colour.

I have coloured her with my promarkers (which all seem to be running out at the moment, so might try some copics next time, see if they last any longer than 1yr).
I have used some DCWV card as the base, then layered up some bazzil and other blues (and thrown in a bit of purple for contrast).  The pearls have been added around the corners of the frame and then I used a PM to 'sew' around the edge of the image.
The butterfly is from Papermania, the flower is a mixture of die cuts , prima and one that I made myself from punches and wet scrunching, then added glitter when dry, attached together with a silver brad.
The ribbon with the vellum birthday sticker is a dovecraft I believe.

I am sharing my card with the following challenges:-}

Flutterby Wednesdays - anything goes - sponsors this week are paper pretties
Bizzy Becs Challenge - The colour blue and butterflies

Penny Black Christmas Card

So here is my latest Penny Black Card, haven't made one in a while, but couldn't resist colouring this cute little bear in and adding lots of glitter, which although the photos don't show, it really does seem to glitter and glisten.

I have used various Papermania papers from their Signature Collection and patchworked them onto a piece of card.  I used a little black card for matting and some lovely Prima flowers to embellish.  I dug out some of my red and white pins and recycled some plastic holly and berries from some old cake decorations that were heading for the bin.
As a final touch I popped on 4 green gemstones.
Thanks for looking, hugs and smiles to you all.

Sweet Stampin with Squiggle Stamps

Hallo again, this is a little card that I prepared for a friend of mine, who I haven't seen in a while, just juggling kiddies, jobs and other commitments mean that even phone calls have been slim on the ground. I have used an image which is fairly new for Squiggle Stamps and is just wicked to colour, effect is great. Tea 4 Two is drawn by Lauren Beard and is one of the Lilliputs range.
This card has some freebie papers on it (cardmaking and papercrafts magazine) and also I have used punches to create some multi coloured blooms with other freebie papers. Used copious amounts of glitter (sort of got carried away, you know how it is). The chipboard cut outs are from Dovecraft, courtesy of MIL and I used my new Woodware mini punches (£1 each in the market) for the tiny flower shapes and the leaves. Filled the flowers with wee little gemstones and also used a piece of purple jute that was crying in my stash box cos it is at least 7 yrs old and hadn't been used. So Jute is now happy and must say it looks magic on the card just the right colour.
I am entering this card into the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog which is (Somewhere over the) Rainbow, I am pretty sure that every colour is somewhere on this card.
Thanks for popping over to see me, hugs and smiles
xx
PS Don't forget the latest release at Squiggles which is the all New Goth Kidz and the fun Current Challenge at Squiggles Blog which is Pink and Black with an optional 'Lace' element.

Goth Kidz are now available at Squiggle Stamps and they are goth gorgeous

Here is one of the delectable new digi images from Squiggle Stamps called 'Goth Toyz' and she and her wee trundle cart are just one of a great new range called 'Goth Kidz' they can be found Here
The new challenge for this fortnight at Squiggle Stamps is Pink and Black with the optional extra of 'Lace'. You have until 9am on Saturday 20th August to show us your gorgeous Squiggles Creations and we are looking forward to having a wee looky at your lovely blogs too.
So thanks for popping over, please do go and have a look at the website at the complete set of the 'Goth Kidz' as I found it real difficult to chose which one to showcase for you all today ( I loved them all!!), in the end Tishy had to chose for me. She also just adores them all and it was very nearly the 'Raggy pony' that she chose, perhaps I'll be back later with a card/project for that one.
Here is where the 'Goth Kidz' are and the following challenge is the one I am sharing my card with today.

Thanks for looking, hugs and smiles to you all and thanks for your lovely comments that you leave for me, xx

Lili of the Valley Birthday Card for Tishy

Well this card has been made for my lovely daughter Tishy, she celebrated her birthday very recently and had lots of lovely pressies and loads of lovely sweeties. So she is very happy!
I made this card using a LOTV square and then made the sketch as I went along, using my stash to colour co-ordinate with the images colourways.
I used some of my new lace and also some organza accross the card and some mulberry paper under the image as a base on top of the main card which is made from some DCWV card. The stamped sentiment is also LOTV from their mini sentiments set.
The flowers are from my stash (WOC and prima) and the brads are some I recently found.
I made a wee phone charm for her and attached this with a small brad and flower.
Thanks for popping over, hugs from
These are the challenges that I am entering with this card:)
Papertake weekly - Anything goes
Allsorts - Free and Easy (3rd entry)

House Mouse ATC with lucky heather

This little cuty is a House Mouse Stamp called mudpie and friend, they looks so sweet perched on the wee wreath. I have coloured with my Promarkers and have used a piece of kanban tartan card as the base to work from. I used a faux piece of heather and some ribbon, brads and three gemstones. The Best Wishes Stamp is stamped with a pale silver ink and it is the first time I have used it, still am not sure if it looks right or not.
The ATC measures exactly 3.5 x 2.5 inches, which if you have not made one before is the size you need to use when making an ArtistTradingCard.
These are the challenges that I am entering, thanks for looking, hugs from
