Sliekje's sweet little fairy

This little fairy has been coloured in using my promarkers.

I have followed a sketch from the Willow Sketchie Challenge.

I have used a digi by Sliekje, she is so talented you should really have a wee looky at her blog.

made using mainly pink embossed card and purple card and some stash from my cupboards and lots of glitter hehe.

I have edged mostly with pigment chalks and have used my black pen to add details.

I added some pearls as extra details and also faux stitching on the heart and flowers combo.

The sentiments are from LOTV.

Biker boy for christmas

Have made this card for putting away for christmas time, have started off this year quite well and the pile is growing, fingers crossed that I don't fall out of the tree too quick this year, must keep it up!

I have coloured with a mixture of whispers and promarkers. I have used a bizzy becs (I think) sentiment and a DCWV sticker. Made a rosette style for under the circle sentiment for a change and popped a handmade fimo button with a piece of hemp tied to it as an extra embelly as it looked a bit 'bear'. Oh dear!, better speed this up a bit no more un'bear'able quips from me.

I made a stepper card for a change as I have not made one for quite a while now, I had forgotten how so it took a couple of goes to get it right, but think I have it now.

Love Birds at Squiggles and Giggles

Look at these gorgeous Love Birds at a special price of 99p at Squiggle Stamps for a limited time only!!

Coloured with promarkers and then liberally glittered with my stickles.

I have used a rub-on for the sentiment and used pearlescent paper to layer up and some tiny brads.  Also popped on some super flower gems.

I love Promarkers  challenge 101 is purple and pink and I am sharing this with them.

Zebra and Foal Magical Wishes for Christmas

Delicious Doodles Zebra and Foal. I love this image and have been wanting to use it since I got it at the beginning of the year.  So as I was wanting to make a christmas card, I got going on another flat one. (for posting). Used some gorgeous freebie papers and a LOTV Sentiment.

This card follows Pink Gems Sketch (Flipped) and Delicious Doodles Winter Wonderland Challenge.

I am also entering it into Sweet Stampin's Challenge 'let's see those animals' and OSAAT - Anything Goes but use a digi.

Squiggles Saturday says we're All Loved Up

And here is a lovely valentine card just for your perusal.

I have used squiggle stamps 'Lovey Dovey', which is available in rubber and digi.

I have coloured with my promarkers,  and followed a sketch. I used a LOTV sentiment, that fell in my basket the other day and lovely glitter on the wings of the birdies.

The ribbon has been recycled from a present that I received last year. Have added faux stitches and edged with pigment chalks.

sugar nellie rockin boy birthday card

This fun image is coloured in with my Promarkers and I have followed a sketch. I used a DCWV Sticker stack quote. '100% Boy'.

I made a bow with a fabby ribbon with stars on it and some black buttons through which I threaded hemp.

I have had this card in mind for a week now, I knew what I wanted to make, just hadn't had time to print out! So have decoupaged the raven, written the name of the poem by poe with my metallic pen and layered up with white card.

Pollycraft Jessy Drummer and a bit of a panic

Well for a while there I thought I wasn't going to get my blog back. This morning I got told blogger had disabled my blog etc etc. The only trouble was that I had not done anything naughty in any way to make them do this. So what was happening, guess what? I still have no idea why they did it, but they did. A quick email from the blogger guys and gals would be great to explain why they had to put me into a panic.  Blogging has become my outlet, not just to share my creations but also as a way to let off steam, well have a natter really with like minded crafters.

Well thats my grumble for the day, and I have probably missed a couple of the challenges that I made this card for but never mind eh, there's always the next challenge.

This is pollycrafts Jessy Drummer, the image was brilliant to colour and I used my promarkers.  The papers are all from my stash, some are snippets, including one snippet that I pinched from my friend Jenny's snippet box hehe. My Nephew will be 16 this week and this is for him. He used to play the drums at all hours but I think if I'm honest his ps3 is now his passion!!

I am hopefully entering this into the following challenges if I catch them in time.

Tortoise - Welcome Babe

Hallo back again, here is a cute little Pollycraft mommy and baby or daddy and baby who knows?

I have coloured with my whispers pens and have layered onto pink papers to contrast with the green, it was only after I had made this card that I came accross Colour Create's latest challenge which is use pink and green, lucky huh?

I have added some lovely green buttons to the card as extras, cos after following the sketch, which was a lovely simple one from willow sketchie, I felt that it needed some more attention.

The Sentiment and the circle stamp are from Personal Impressions, which I have then cut out with a spellbinder die. I edged this with my dark pink chalk and layered it onto a double flower punched from green paper.  The ribbon that runs along the bottom is from a present and is extremely thick to the touch so was glad that it sits under the two rectangles, extra bit of sticky!

Fizzy moon with flowers

I have coloured this cuty in with my whispers again, boring I know, soon they will lose their novelty and I will be back to using my Promarkers.

I have followed a sketch and used all pinks, even the tiny buttons are pearlescent pink!

The flowers are all punched out from co-ordinating sheets of papermania and the main back sheet was part of a candy win from the beginning of last year. I have added some pink! papermania gems to the flowers and have used some fibre span the card with and attached a wee pink! bow. The greeting was stamped letter by letter as I seem to have mislaid my happy birthday stamps.

Squiggles No Embellies Christmas Card

This card was a little different and I found quite difficult. No Embellies was the request from Lollipop this time around so I had a go!

I used some pearlescent papers, keeping them to just the blues.

The brilliant fun christmassy cold image is from squiggle stamps is available here.

Again coloured with whispers pens and I glittered the snowman to within a snowflake of its life.

Faux stitching around image and pretty much everywhere else, must get the real sewing machine out again as it would be much quicker.

CAS Christmas Easel

This little sweetie is a sugar nellie and I have coloured her in with my whispers pens. I have followed a simple sketch and kept it clean and simple. I have added some faux stitching around the image and also some tibetan silver charms, which I attached with tiny brads.

Then I added some stickles to parts of her dress and some of the parcels.

The ribbon came from Brenda as part of her recycled candy that I won last year, it is perfect. I attached with a snowflake brad. The sentiment and snowflakes are from a set of christmas fairy stamps. The snowflakes have been liberally smothered in stickles.

Hedgie Birthday Card

This time around I have used my new Whisper pens that I also bought on saturday in WH Smith.  Thanks so much for popping over and looking.  What do you think, better worse or just the same?

This is one of the adorable free images that came with my latest edition of Cardmaking and Papercraft. They are drawn by Margaret Sherry as you probably know and there was 15 images to play with. Spoilt for choice or what? Added 4 large papermania gems for a finishing touch.

Jenny do you recognise your scraps that I liberated from your scrap box.

So I made a clean and simple card for your perusal. Hope you like it.

Sunny Flower Girl with Birthday Wishes

Well what do you think of my little girly watering her sunflowers. so cute or what!?

She is available from Squiggle Stamps and she is called Sunny Flower Girl.

I have coloured with my promarkers and have used some stashed away hot off the press papers. I also used up some scraps whilst punching out the flowers and leaves.

The 'happy birthday stamp is a Home and Heart stamp by Create It! (old old one) Which I then went over with my pens to soften the effect.I added some papermania clear gems to the wee flowers that I stamped onto the sentiment rectangle.

The card blank was made from some new bazill type card that I bought at WH SMith.

Also added sparkly gems to the centres of my scrappy flowers. (smiles)

Ooops nearly forgot to add Pixies Crafty Snippets Challenge, what will i forget next i ask myself?

Blogger issues

This last few days I have had considerable troubles commenting, along with a lot of other bloggers I know.

The quick fix for your own blog is to go to the settings tab in your dashboard
Click on Comments
then go to Comment Placement -

You will nead to untick the button next to Embedded Comments and select 'Pop Up' instead.

This will not help you see anyone elses comments but it does mean that visitors to your blog will be able to comment. For how long is anyones guess, probably just until  blogger changes some more lines of coding!!

Hopefully they will fix this, perhaps by only allowing pop up comment boxes in the settings. hehe. Think that might be too easy!!

Some cuddly bears for a baby card

Sorry about the rotton picture, not a lot of good light at the moment.

I have made this card to add to my card pile, as there are several babies due amongst my friends and as of yet no one knows what sex they are having.

So I will be sharing a blue version with you all when I get around to making it!

I have not made a round easel card before, but liked the outcome.

The Dies are spellbinder nestabilities. The sentiment stamp is an old one from my stash, 'impressions' is the name that comes to mind, but not sure 100% on that make.

I have used a Squiggle Stamps Rubber stamp called 'Polar Love', then I coloured it up as if it were a brown bear and think it came out lovely.

The pink hearts have been punched and recycled from a card that I received before christmas.

The current Challenge at Squiggle Stamps is RECYCLE/UPCYCLE and I am lovin' it. Have got so many ideas, including reusing old cereal boxes and I even have an old zip put aside for a scrapbook page I have planned. Just LOVE recycling.

Right then onto the challenges that I wish to enter, I seem to be rattling a bit must be too much coffee or just that FRIDAY FEELING!!!

When you wish upon a star!

I have used this gorgeous girl (called Evie) and her teddybear by Pollycraft. I have coloured with my promarkers and have used some freebie papers that I found in my stash, that were just perfect I felt to go with this image. I cut out a tag to match and attached it using a lovely large flower brad and some pretty prima and papermania flowers. I have used stickles around the edge of the image and also the sentiment and stars.

Pollycraft Frames digi image, she's so cool!

This image has been coloured with my promarkers and has been layered using some old mirror card. I have popped a couple of marianne creatables roses in the top corner and used a sentiment I got as a freebie from a magazine before christmas.  The ribbon is Dovecraft metallic pink and has gold edging. Dark puplish blue brads in the corners of the card and brownbrads on the sentiment placque finish it off.

Miss Evie Wonderland

Please don't ask me why they are all over the place the page says they are in the middle. ho hum. Anyway this little lady is miss evie wonderland and she is wonderful. I have made this dream of a card for a dear friend of mine.  I have followed a sketch and have coloured with my promarkers. I have used some DCWV Stickers and also recycled a lindt bunny bow and charm from last year. Stickles are generously abounding and some pretty purple flower brads have been rescued from the back of a drawer!

Pollycraft fairy for totally papercrafts sketch

Hallo everyone, I have coloured this wonderful image with my promarkers, it is from pollycraft and is called lilybean snow fairies - clover snowclouds. She is beautiful and looks lovely with all the stickles added to her wings and the snowflakes. I have followed a sketch and used some lovely prima flowers and some candy dots.  Also added some thin lace and some lovely wide purple ribbon from my stash.

Pollycraft boy with his pup dog

Hallo again, this brilliant little digi is a new one for me. I have coloured with my promarkers and have added some stickles to the wee bauble. I have made this card for a friends son. I have used some more of the pizzaz papers from hotp (they need to be used have hoarded them for far too long).

The doily is from my local costcutter, which has been inked with chalks, pigment inks etc. The ribbon and candy dots and chipboard circle with stars is from my stash.

RECYCLE at Squiggles and Giggles

This brilliant digi image drawn by Evelina Wikberg is called ski girl and she is from the goth kidz range at Squiggle Stamps Store.

The challenge for this fortnight is Recycle and so I have recycled this gorgeous golden cord(from a tag) which I then remade into a tassled edging.

And then I punched out some flowers from a christmas card and edged them with Kan Dee Chalks.I have used some old pizzaz papers from hotp. and some wee candy tops for the flower centres.
