Moonlit Sleigh Ride Tag

This is my latest Christmas Tag, I have used an image that I bought about 4 years ago, that up until now I had not used, not even once. So! absolutely mortified! I am going to make an effort to rake more often to find the hidden wonders at the back of the cupboard.
I have coloured with my promarkers, sparkled up the stars with stickles, added a beautiful grey green flower with a purple star button. The mauve ribbon I have twisted and fixed like looped tassels and then used some under the flower and for fixing to the parcel.

I have coloured this Meljens image with my Promarkers and have followed a sketch, the button is one that I saved from an old rattie cardie, that was evicted from the bottom drawer just the other day and the cardstock is a mixture of DCWV and Papermania.

Birdie Bunting from SquiggleStamps and cupcakes

This lovely stamped image is from Squiggle Stamps, it is called Birdie Bunting and is wonderful to colour and so effective when raised with a few 3d pads.

I have coloured with my Promarkers and have handstamped the best wishes with Brilliance Ink, the cupcakes on the stand is from a packet of diecuts that my mum in law kindly bought for me, they are all really glittery. Lovely!

I am entering this card into Squiggle Stamps Monthly Challenge which is currently to include a cupcake/cake somewhere on your card. To be a valid entry your main image must be a Squiggle Stamps and they have plenty to chose from, including the one above, which is one of the new releases. So what are you waiting for we all like a bit of the sweet stuff, even if is bad for the diet/purse!!

Hope you enjoyed popping over

Neva's wonders

This is 'Neva' I just love this stamp by Nikki Burnette, (Sweet Pea Stamps). I have coloured her with my PMs and have shaded and then used my sparkly stickles for the snow and poinsettias.

I have followed a sketch and used a mixture of DCWV, papermania and plain cardstock.

I have popped on feathers and bows with sequins and pearls. The stocking can actually be detatched and added to your charms for bag/keys/mobile strap, so it is like a mini gift. Papermania green gems adorn the sentiment and I have used some pretty pins for added 3Dism and buttons to finish.

I am entering Neva into the following challenges

Winter Wonderland - Photo inspiration

(This card has some serious extras protruding from it, I will be making a box for it in the very near future so that the scraps of paper from making the card can be incorporated into the design)

I do hope you like this card and thank you all very much for taking the time to pop by.

Spring florals and bows, buttons and blooms

I have used a food digi, but I can't for the life of me remember where this one came from, you see it was one that I got when I first started to blog & use digis. It never occurred to me that there was so many available, this was a freebie and I thought why not and never noted its ownership in its saving details (which I now do, so that I can give credit where credit is due). So without more rambling I have made this spring card to go with a gift of flowers for a friend of mine. I have coloured with my Pms and have used some new (freebie by Rowena Stots and my cardmaking mag) papers and a chipboard tag to start, layered up as I chose and added some mulberry flowers attached them to the card with a brad and then decided that we needed a ribbon or two. Which I then decided needed a small button.

So eventually I managed to stop myself adding extras and this was the result. I am entering this card into 2 sisters Challenge 34 - Spring. Thanks for looking Heidi xx

Three for the price of one sketch

Well I did say I was playing catch up and I so like this sketch that I made three cards using it. So again, I have Peppers Christmas Decoupage pad and I have used the carolling froggies I have layered each of these cards up according to the sketch and added some flowers, brads the occasional feather and I have used a ribbon on one of them.

Hope you like them. I am entering this card, the one above into

Pepper and Whisper, snow pals

Spot the spot where the green heart button should be?!

Got the photo taken, uploaded it to my computer, put it on the blog post and then put the camera battery into its recharge socket.

Then I realised that the button had fallen off!!

So I will update the picture when the battery is charged again. See below finally got round to it, such great weather today, having lots of fun in the garden.

I have used a decoupage for a change, and this one I got because my mum in laws dog is on the left and my cat is on the right. The decoupage is from a pad of Pepper's Christmas Party ' First Snow'. This pad has such fun images on it and I will be making a few more cards with it in the next few weeks. I am playing catch up with my promise to myself to create 2 christmas cards a week, so that by christmas I am ready. So far I have only made half a dozen or so and I am well behind.

I have layered up using papers from a pad of Papermania Signature, A Christmas Carol.

I have followed a lovely sketch and have used a Papermania clear stamp 'Noel', I have glittered a mulberry heart and have added some mulberry holly leaves, these I have fixed with brads.

I am entering

Blue Bling

A pretty jewellery offering just for a change.

I have made a bracelet/necklace combo for my aunts birthday.

I have used a large blue, silver lined glass bead for the inspiration and some smaller bicones, 8mm pale blue pearlescent acrylic and a few teal rocailles.

I am entering this into just the one challenge

Thanks for looking and hope you like it.

P.S. Of course this may not be admissable for the challenge, and if that is so, I would still have wanted to share it with you. xx

Gorjuss greens

This gorjuss image is coloured with my PMs and I have added some papermania gemstones for the buttons. I have layered up some pretty yellow/green mulberry flowers and attached with a large green brad. The large leaf spray is a recycled item from some old fake flower displays that I took apart a wee while ago, this was really cos I needed some small pink flowers at the time, but the whole lot got stripped.

I have embossed two panels with a flower folder (freebie) and attached either side. Then I added two panels of faux leather look paper.

I have given this card 4 folds and have enjoyed concocting each part. I am entering this card into the following challenges

Critter Sketch - Fancy Folds

Spoonfull of Sugar ch146 - Tons of Texture

Try it on Tuesday - A card inspired from your home. (an old table cloth that I love)
I have added this wee note as I was very kindly told I had not included a link to the One Stop Card Crafts for the above challenge, who have a wonderful webstore, check them out on the above link.xx
