Penny Black summer sunshine celebrations

So love this image, makes me think of Summer time and the olympic torch now, not birthdays lol.
I have made this card for my mums birthday that is in june. I have coloured using a mixutre of promarkers, SU markers and pen. I have used my freebie stamp for the happy birthday and some of my freebie papers, (for the flowers and bunting). The matt card is papermania and I have faux stitched.

I crunched the flowers but didn't make them wet this time. Affixed using a brad.

The bunting is such fun in the dotty pattern and the celebrate is a die cut from the same paper pack.
Look at the sunshine, what am i doing indoors, must finish fast as have more washing to hang out, the washing machine can't keep up with how quick it is drying. long may it last!!!

The new challenge is Ribbons and Roses and the grand prize is a £15 voucher to spend instore. yayyy!!!!
So pop on over and have a looky at the dt's creations and join in the fun. You don't have to use a Squiggles image to play, but we sure love it when you do. In fact we love it so much we put the entry in twice!
The image that I chose to share is one of the new Jessabelles, she is called 'stitched' and is available here.
I have coloured with my promarkers and have used stickles on the heart.
I used some papers from my stash, can't remember their name but they came from the march kit at simon says. The pretty floral ribbon came from a magical ribbon shop in Devon last year and the roses are from marianne creatables. The green and blue ribbons are Stampin up and held in place with some tiny brads from my stash.

I have stickled each of the roses and distressed them, they were all cut from co-ordinations card and I found this was quite good for distressing.
Both the sentiments are from Stampin up sets.
The swan is from my bead/charm boxes
Close up of those pretty ribbons.

Meljens pony easel card

Isn't she beautiful!
Coloured her in with my promarkers and added glitter to the flowers.  I have followed a sketch for this one from a Gem of a Challenge.
I used wee grey dew drops, some papermania stickers, my wee circle punch and my large and small x-cut flower punches. Around the edge pansy punch and small pink glitter gems and then edged gently with beige chalks. The large glittery brads are from SU as are the sentiment stamps.
It's so nice and sunny today that the pictures seem to make her look even happier.
I have a hidden tag too! So you can pop in your own secret sentiment.
And yes a little bit of faux stitching.

Forever Friends New Baby Card Sooo Cute!!

So so cute, I love Forever Friends, don't use them enough!!
I have coloured with my promarkers and whispers pens.
I used some freebie papers and also a couple of squares of SU Dp. The lace is from my stash as is the large brad.  I used a scrap of SU ribbon in pear pizzazz and a vellum sticker.
Using scraps of other freebie papers from the same set and also a little of the left over SU Dp i punched out various size flowers using my x-cut punches. The large flowers I fixed together with a brad, then wetted and scrunched up gently.  Then putting them into the shapes I wanted I popped them on a radiator for a wee while to dry. Voila! C'est magnifique!

Posting you Penny Black Birthday Wishes

Still not really happy with photos, but it is still raining so never mind.
Penny Black stamp coloured with my promarkers and layered onto a couple of die cuts.
I have 'cased' my friend Jennys' card over at Penny Black and friends challenge, so I have tried my bestest to be as similar as possible, but picked different colours, same shape ie easel and very similar layout.
I used some freebie papers that I got recently, think it was a cardmaking and papercraft magazine that they came with.

Made a wee banner for the sentiment, punched out flowers and leaves. Scrunched up the flowers, dampened then allowed to dry semi scrunched. I used a LOTV round sentiment for the base and finished off with a heart brad and some wee blue flower gems from my stash.

Pink and Girlie Birthday Wishes

Bella on swing by digi stamp boutique.  This is one of the images that I won recently and have finally printed, coloured and layered onto a card. Went a bit pink and girly here don't know what came over me. Perhaps it was the big dark pink flower that i found in my stash.

Coloured with my promarkers and SU markers this time. Used several die cuts and 6 sweet little dark pink brads. The flower is from my stash and I have added a WO rose and a beige/pink mulberry flower between them all.

The sweet little charm is also from my stash and the photo below was in a slightly different light, but felt it showed the flower better. faux stitches added to finish.
challenges
Charisma Cardz 18 - strangely their challenge is actually called pink and girlie
Sweet Stampin - Four legged friends
Thanks for popping over again, I know too many posts in one day.

Gorjuss girly for a gorgeous girlies birthday

Gorjuss Girly here for you coloured with my promarkers and made into a fairly cas card layout.  I have used my concorde crush stampin up ink pad and stamped around the edge of the card, then I have layered some matching su card onto white card stock, stamped the happy birthday, (another su stamp) and used my small circle punch to make two embellishments for either side of the sentiment. Onto the circles I popped some large pale blue gems.
To finish I faux stitched with my white papermania pen.

Squiggles frankenstein boy

This multifold card has been made using the spooky frankenstein boy from squiggle stamps. I had great fun colouring him in with my new Stampin up markers. I have layered using the gorgeous bright orange card (button folder embossing courtesy of my friend Jenny) and some dark purple card.
The sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs and I find it so useful for those male cards.lol
Inside has been decorated simply using a die cut and some orange gems.

close up for his cuteness, can a frankenstein boy be cute? I think so.

Tag your it!

Using my sizzix tag dies I cut out a pile of tags and began to stamp.  Around the edge of the first one I used a SU stamp with SU ink pad, pear pizazz.  Next I used the SU inkpad, island indigo and stamped two postage images. these I cut out and popped onto the tag with dimension squares.
The sentiment is stamped in island indigo too.  The flower (x-cut) is punched out of tartan Kanban card and a small flower image stamped again with island indigo ink pad and attached with a white brad.
Topping it all off the tartan ribbon from my stash.
'Thanks' sentiment again SU and coloured with SU markers, The ribbons and heather and button and twine is from my stash.  The flower border punch (x-cut) was used on some pearlescent card and attached horizontally.  The flower above is made from a tim holtz die, it has a with a small die cut centre and a small papermania flower sticker.
Pretty Wooden Butterfly coloured with promarkers, su markers an pigment chalks. Kanban tartan card for the flowers punched using an x-cut punch. The sentiment is an SU stamp.
A pretty wedding tag, made using satin and also organza spotted ribbon. Stamped around the edge with pear pizzazz SU ink pad and SU stamp. I have attached a small tibetan silver cross charm to the white heather and twirled the ends of the flowers.
Kanban Tartan again for the punched flowers.
Die cut sentiment from my stash.

Pixies Snippet Challenge (lots of snippets used on these tags, and yes I do have a note for being absent, have had a terrible time with a flu like cold, knocked me for six maybe even seven!)

Medals and Monarchs for Stampalot Guest Designer spot

I was so excited when I was asked to produce something for the Medals and Monarchs Challenge for Stampalot for the Month of May.  I coloured with promarkers and stampin up markers, used stampin up designer papers and a sugar nellie stamp that i have to admit had been lurking in the drawer unused. I hand wrote the sentiment (I know my writing is terrible, but i do try hard) and used some of the lovely ribbons that I had won from Stampalot.
I found a crown in my stash and fixed it onto a flower and added some gems for extra sparkle.

The medal that I made is my representation of the queens jubilee medal. I found one on the net and made a similar hand drawn one. I added some super wide blue ribbon as I didn't have a red white and blue one unfortunately.  This was attached via a large silver loop that I sandwiched between two punched circles.
