Three little girls ...

These cute little girlies are from a great fun pack that my friend gave me this christmas ( I've mainly used them so far for thank you cards as you can imagine)
Between the christmas and the new year I have grabbed a moment in time to do a little crafting.
Sanity returns, possibly only briefly as it is our anniversary this week as well.

This has to be one of my fave images(sugarnellie) that I have had this year, even though the little stars are a bit fiddly to colour, the end result is always worth it. I have followed a sketch for this card and have used some ribbon that a friend gave me, some papermania gems, a tim holtz embossing folder on the white panel, some matt silver paper and some incredible silver reflective card, that I am eking out as I only have a little left and can't remember where I bought it from.

Easelly Does it Claudia

I have made this card to enter into The Sugar Bowl Challenge # 49 - Maria Therese's Sketch - Theme Snowflakes
I have coloured Claudia the Artist with Promarkers and used some DCWV card and some glittery cardstock for the snowflakes which I have punched out using a Dovecraft punch. I have fixed the snowflakes using a snowflake brad and used one of my border punches for below the pale blue/silver ribbon which goes across the card.
The lower snowflake was made using the same purple card to tie in and this time fixed with a fairy brad and the sentiment has been attached in this way

This Easel Card has been made for a very good friend of mine, hope she likes it, haven't really got many more to make for christmas, but am needing some more tags.
Hugs to you all and thanks everso for popping by, will have some New Year Candy for my followers, so keep your eyes peeled.

Tishies Chrissie Decorations

My middle daughter, came rushing through asking for ribbons and sticky tape 30 minutes ago, cos she had seen something on the tv she wanted to try.
Here is the result!
They were so good I said I would see if there was any challenges that she could enter them into, and there was, luckily for me.
She has hand cut out hoops of card, then wrapped them with different coloured ribbons from my stash. She made loops to fix them onto her tree, one of which she plaited! So Clever.
I have entered her into these challenges, which don't seem to have anything saying you have to stamp/colour anything, so hopefully it will be alright.
Allsorts Challenge 82 - Last minute christmas projects
CES Challenge 16-Anything but a card
Thanks for popping over to admire my daughter's (age 10) work

Blackcurrant Fairy Jam or My first ever Jam escapade

Today I thought I would share with you this first pot of jam that I have made with our own blackcurrants (frozen from the autumn of course). Even my son likes it, which when you take into account that he hates jam, is a wonderful accolade, of course it could be because he is being ultra good for Santa's watching elves. Ho Hum.
The little fairy is a squiggle stamps creation and is just perfect matted onto a piece of papermania yellow checked paper, to match the jar that I have decorated, although I gave in to my youngest daughter who said I had to have a santa sticker on the top, go figure, but why not I say.
I am entering this into the Squiggle Stamps challenge/gdt challenge

I have followed my own design for the layout, added some pretty blue gems in the corners and punched out some christmassy snowflakes in varying glittery/glistening card.
